The Children’s Adventure Farm provides a variety of programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children.

They needed a website that adequately displayed the full reach of the charity and the fun and hope the Children’s Adventure Farm gives the children that visit the farm.

The new website is designed to reflect the charity’s youth focus, featuring animation, bespoke illustrations and social media links.

The website also features embedded video, downloadable resources and is linked through to their Just Giving page to enable easy donation to the charity.  It has been developed as an accessible website, meaning it is usable for people of varying abilities and disabilities.

We are also responsible for the ever-changing graphic designs on the website including seasonal reskins for Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas.

First Internet looks after Ace Controls’ ongoing PPC and SEO campaigns and has achieved first page and first position rankings for a number of vital key phrases such as ‘hydraulic dampers’ and ‘industrial shock absorbers’, delivering traffic and driving enquiries.

Ace’s website has also been redesigned and developed by First Internet. The new site has an online CAD library and also hosts a huge database, allowing visitors to enquire about a list of products.

Peter Nyssen sells hundreds of varieties of flower bulbs across the world through their website.

Previously their site acted as a brochure site and customers had to make telephone orders. An ecommerce solution was in desperate need and First Internet was approached. A bright and fresh ecommerce site was designed and developed and now takes hundreds of orders each day.

First Internet promotes the site through PPC and SEO campaigns and has achieved first page rankings for important phrases such as “Galdioli bulbs” and “Dahlia bulbs”. A quarter of the current revenue comes from PPC alone.

The next stage of development will be translating the site into several languages for their overseas customers.

Bakery chain Greenhalgh’s has 59 bakeries across the North West.

Their previous site didn’t provide all the functionality they needed. First Internet rustled up a new, modern and interactive website for the well established baker, complete with the facility to trade online – an area new to the bakery.

In addition to the online shop – where customers can design their own bespoke cakes by scanning and submitting photos as well as order buffets – the site boasts recipes, product details – including nutritional information – and a postcode shop locator.

Nailease came to us with a brand new beauty concept for young women – nail wraps designed to give users an ‘instant manicure’ without requiring heat or drying time.

We were tasked with creating an interactive and eye-catching ecommerce website to attract fashionable visitors to purchase these brand new beauty products.

The site includes a unique ‘add-to-basket’ feature that sees an animation of your chosen nail product fly into the online basket on screen.

Nailease also commissioned us to produce a promotional and instructional video to be used on their website which we shot, edited and embedded into the site.

In addition to designing and developing the website we took charge of their online marketing strategy, including SEO, PPC, social media marketing and email marketing.

Less than a year after launch the site boasts an average of 3,500 visitors per month, steadily increasing revenue, over 400 Facebook Fans and nearly 2,500 Twitter followers.  Nailease also ranks on page one of Google for important key phrases including “nail wraps”, “nail varnish stickers” and “instant manicure”.

Creamline Dairies was founded in 1945 and initially supplied milk and supplies to businesses in Trafford Park and Worsley. Since then Creamline developed into a very successful doorstep delivery company and is now one of the leading independent dairy companies in the UK.

We were approached to build a website that would allow customers to register for an online account and handle their orders online.

The site will built allows customers to set their weekly orders online and make any one off amends up to 9PM the day before so there orders would be on the doorstep the next morning.  The website had to integrate with a new office system they were having developed and needed to automate payments on a weekly basis by repeat credit card transactions and direct debits.

The website now acts as an interface between the customer and Creamline, allowing registered users to view what is and has been delivered that week, their account balances and payments and contact forms to get in touch with their local depot.

Chris Bennett Heavy Haulage Ltd specialises in general and heavy haulage and has been in operation since 1976.

Chris Bennett approached First Internet following a recommendation from an existing client to redesign and redevelop their website with the aim of increasing enquiries.

The website was designed to be striking in design and clearly display the services and vehicles supplied by Chris Bennett.  The whole site centres on innovative and quirky design to appeal to its visitors.

Following launch, First Internet was asked to look after the ongoing search engine optimisation of the website to help achieve attract enquiries.  Since its launch at the beginning of 2012, Chris Bennett has already achieved first page Google rankings for a number of important key phrases including “crane load”, “freight companies”, “heavy haulage” and “wide loads”.

Simplicity Pattern Co. Inc. is a worldwide company that designs, produces, markets and distributes sewing patterns for consumers that practice and enjoy home sewing activities.

Their UK website, simplicitynewlook.com, had suffered severe functionality issues and was not delivering acceptable revenue. First Internet was tasked with a website redesign, development and online promotion using SEO, PPC, social media marketing and email marketing.

The new Simplicity website operates across a number of currencies and distributes products worldwide. The website launched in June 2012 and in just three months the site’s statistics, and revenue, had improved dramatically:

• Visits have increased by over 20%.
• From July to August revenue on the site increased by over 100%.
• In August the website made revenue equivalent to 50% of the revenue for the whole of the previous year.
• Average site visit duration rose by over 80%.
• Mobile purchases now account for 15% of all transactions.
• Following only two months of SEO activity, key phrases are ranking on page one and delivering more traffic to the site:
  • “Sewing patterns” delivered 64% more traffic.
  • “Dress patterns” delivered 270% more traffic.
• In August two email campaigns were sent out which led to over 3,000 visits and nearly £2,000 in revenue.
• Social media activity gave the site a 143% lift in traffic in August, directly related to social media sharing.

The Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention Appeal is the only charity in the UK dedicated entirely to the prevention of breast cancer.

The Genesis Appeal needed to upgrade their website to maximise the opportunities for raising awareness and funds.

First Internet launched the million miles section of the Genesis website. The million miles section is dedicated to events, downloads, merchandise, and fundraising directly relating to the million miles campaign. Throughout the website users are able to make a donation, leave a gift, volunteer and sign up to events run by Genesis as well as events ran by external organisers. There is an e-commerce section of the website selling Genesis merchandise and a calendar which highlights genesis events and million miles events. The website is also integrated with third party ebook software which displays their print brochures dynamically on the site.

As well as ongoing technical support and website tweaks, First Internet also provides Genesis with email marketing services.
