Everyone with an eye on technology has been listening to the latest news from the recent Consumer Electronics Show 2014 in Las Vegas.
As an internet marketing company we have to stay ahead of the field and the team here at First Internet were pondering the ramifications of having to design content for your fridge, washing machine, games console, toothbrush and kettle.
It seems that every device imaginable these days can be internet connected in an attempt to streamline our lives and save time and effort. Soon we will leave it to the fridge to order our food and tell us what and when to eat. I’m sure it won’t be long before the cat litter tray sends us a text message to tell us when to empty it either!
It was certainly an interesting chat and obviously we speculated that there would be some crazy, but exciting, things around the corner. Bringing it back to reality though we all acknowledged that we needed to be at the forefront of making sure technology could be accessed and used as easily as possible on every device possible. Something our User Experience team got very excited about.
