About the Role 

We’re looking for a talented and proactive Social Media Executive / Account Manager to join our growing marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll create and deliver innovative, insight-driven social media strategies that captivate audiences, drive engagement, and deliver tangible results for our clients across both B2C and B2B sectors. You’ll be equally comfortable developing content calendars, writing copy, managing paid campaigns, and analysing performance data — as well as managing client relationships with professionalism and enthusiasm. This role would ideally suit someone with at least 18 months’ experience in social media marketing (including six months in an agency environment) who’s ready to take ownership of client accounts and grow into a senior position. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Plan and deliver social media programmes that increase awareness, traffic, and conversions. 
  • Research, write, and produce engaging, on-brand content across multiple social platforms. 
  • Create visual and video content for First Internet and client campaigns for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. 
  • Manage and nurture client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for social accounts. 
  • Monitor social channels for engagement opportunities, trends, and reactive moments. 
  • Deliver and optimise paid social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms. 
  • Analyse and report on campaign performance, offering insights and actionable improvements. 
  • Contribute to new business proposals and pitches, supporting the creation of social strategies for prospective clients. 
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for upselling or expanding existing client programmes. 

About You 

  • Minimum 18 months’ experience in a social media or digital marketing role (agency background preferred). 
  • Demonstrable experience creating and managing content across multiple platforms. 
  • Working knowledge of paid social advertising and campaign optimisation. 
  • Excellent writing skills, creativity, and an eye for detail. 
  • Basic video editing skills (e.g., for short-form social content) would be a strong advantage. 
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. 
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with a solution-driven approach. 
  • Confident communicator who enjoys collaboration within a fast-paced, creative team. 
  • A genuine passion for social media, staying on top of the latest trends and platform updates.
